Autumn 2020 Newsletter

Well. . .don’t know how how found this page but thanks for stopping in!! This is a really old post! Please visit this page to book a consultation I figured I had better get my Autumn newsletter out soon or I’d lose track of all the stuff I’m getting up to! When we first went into lockdown, I honestly thought I’d spend my days playing Candy Crush or binge-watching Gordon Ramsey. I mean I’m a teacher and the schools shut down! Fortunately, I’ve managed to keep away from the games and instead focused on finishing off some long term projects. […]

The Jupiter Return of the Death of Diana

The Jupiter Return is when the transiting planet Jupiter returns to the degree it was at birth. Occurring about every 12 years, it marks important stages of development, particularly in adolescence. Do you think such an event would have no meaning? Well check out how it is playing out for Prince Harry. In just under 12 hours at 1am on the 8 March 2021 (GMT), the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be interviewed by Oprah Winfrey. But now it’s back to school time, I’m pushing myself to be productive. I need to be distracted. Fortunately for me, I’ve been able to dive into some great reads. Quick Commercial Break! How could even think about starting the school year without knowing where Jupiter is this year? Here’s a quick guide to help you understand your child’s or your classroom’s learning style. If you […]

Childhood Education Astrology Research | Alex Trenoweth Dell Horoscope

Childhood education astrology research has been a cornerstone of my work as both a teacher and an astrologer. My article, “Childhood Education: A Study by a Teacher and Astrologer,” was published in Dell Horoscope magazine, bringing together my classroom experience and astrological insights into how children learn and develop. Another article “When a Flower Speaks” appeared in the May/June 2018 issue. Dismissed for their lack of precision, non-replicable results and miniscule databases, modern day astrologers are often ridiculed by their skeptics. Can astrologers step up to the scientific plate or will they go down with the pseudoscience ship? In my […]

Astrology for Parents

In 2020, it was my very great pleasure to write a column on Astrology and Children for the Organisation for Professional Astrologers (OPA). Astrology for Parents is the second instalment. It quickly became apparent to me that addressing the pitfalls of working with children by using astrology needed to be addressed. This area in astrology is unchartered and opinions around the ethics of reading charts for children vary. My opinion is that unless the astrologer has adequate qualifications and experience in working with children (beyond parenting) then it is safer to not offer this kind of service. And no astrologer, […]
