Astrology Conference Review: Kepler (Canaveral Research)

Been going to the same Astrology Conferences year after year? It’s time to get out of the same old routine! Astrological research is where it’s at! Astrological research has gone from strength to strength in recent years. Although the Kepler Conference and Canaveral Research now seems defunct, other astrologers have stepped up ti the astrological research plate. The Vibrational Astrology Conference, convened by David Cochrane, is a very formidable replacement. Astrological research has just moved laterally! The Kepler Astrology Conference, was held on beautiful Cocoa Beach Florida, was an astrology conference with a difference: the speakers were all nerds! We tested […]

Astrology Conference Review: NORWAC

The Northwest Astrology Conference (NORWAC) has the tagline “where you won’t get lost in the crowd”. I have to concur that the NORWAC crowd is super friendly and eager to engage. Everywhere I turned, there were other astrologers who wanted to talk to me (or I wanted to talk to them). It just seemed everyone treasured their time together. NORWAC meets yearly in June. Located near Seattle Washington, USA, this far-flung conference location takes a bit of devotion to reach. It’s a flight across the Pacific for Australian and Asian astrologers and a trans-continental flight for East Coast Americans. I […]

Astrology Conference Reviews: Institute of Vedic Culture (IVC)

About IVC Kolkata IVC Kolkata (the full name is The Institute of Vedic Culture for Public Welfare Conference) and its affiliated school Krishnamurti Institute of Astrology (KIA) have been conducting astrology conferences for a full Saturn cycle. In 2018, there were about 70 international speakers. And for their next conference, they will be welcoming over 100 International speakers and 48 student speakers. Many of the lectures […]

Astrology Conference Review: International Balkan (Belgrade)

Been going to the same astrology conferences year after year? It’s time to get out of the same old routine! Astrology-a field of study that is rapidly gaining interest-needs good quality schools that students can be proud of. The International Balkan Astrology Conference takes place every March in Belgrade. Since 2001, organisers Aleksander Imsiragic, President of ISAR (which is an affiliate sponsor of IVC), and medical doctor, author and astrologer Lea Imsiragic have been inviting astrologers from all over the world to present their lectures to the students of their affiliated school, the Johannes Kepler Institute. Lea is also the coordinator […]

Astrology Conference Review: ISAR 2016

Been going to the same Astrology Conferences year after year? It’s time to get out of the same old routine! ISAR 2016 wins my prize for “Best Connections” and it’s a conference well worth attending if you are just starting to branch out as an astrologer. Best Connections, ISAR I first attended ISAR’s biennial conference in 2014. It marked the very start of my career as an international astrologer (I had spoken at UAC in 2008 but was working full time as a teacher so wan’t able to travel much). My book “Growing Pains” had come out the year before […]
