As I prepare for the Australian launch of Bending the Light and my Australia astrology tour, I’ve been spending a few precious weeks back in my home state of Michigan. Celebrating my “second 30th birthday” in Detroit with my university roommate Christine, visiting an old friend in Oscoda, and playing in a euchre tournament at beautiful Torch Lake have all reminded me how important it is to reconnect with family and friends before setting off on another adventure.
