Boys Town

And now for an old favourite. . . In “Boys Town” (released in 1938), there’s no such thing as a bad boy. Spencer Tracy famously played the compassionate Father Flanagan whose philosophy is sorely tested by Mickey Rooney’s Whitey, a young man from the wrong side of the tracks. Tracy’s Pluto and South Node in Gemini are within one degree of Flanagan’s Venus, and Spencer’s descendant in Cancer is exactly conjunct Flanagan’s Sun. Tracy’s portrayal of Flanagan was noted for its sensitivity and the role helped promote the real Boys Town in Nebraska. There are thousands of astrological “coincidences” in “Mirror Mirror” (https://amzn.to/3IrYPU6).
