Being added to Astro-Databank is a genuine milestone for any astrologer. It’s a curated, citation-driven record of people whose work and data are considered useful to the wider community—researchers, students, journalists, and the simply astro-curious. Inclusion isn’t automatic; you don’t “sign up.” And, unlike the good old days, you don’t get to write your own biography. You build a public body of work, you get cited, your dates and sources are checked (and checked again), and editors decide whether you belong there. Many excellent astrologers never make it in, which is why I’m both proud and very grateful today—to mentors who sharpened my thinking, colleagues who challenged and supported me, students and clients who kept me honest, and the behind-the-scenes editors and data hounds who care about accuracy more than applause. (Spelling confirmed: T-R-E-N-O-W-E-T-H. Pronunciation… still a group project.)

For context on the road here: I’m a veteran United Astrology Conference speaker, the author of three books, and I’ve spent years researching education-focused astrology—how planetary cycles can illuminate learning and development—and sharing that work in classrooms, conferences, and print. A highlight this summer was giving an author’s talk at Waterstones, a lovely reminder that thoughtful astrology belongs in serious cultural spaces. Making it into Astro-Databank doesn’t feel like a finish line; it feels like a responsibility—to keep doing rigorous, accessible, ethically grounded work that readers and researchers can rely on.
