A Beautiful Evening in South Kensington — and Big Creative News

Mirror Mirror: The Astrology of Famous People and the Actors Who Portrayed Them

The big news this week is that Mirror Mirror Volume Two is now officially underway, alongside a beautifully refreshed front page on my website.

A beautiful evening in South Kensington

I’ve just come back from the most wonderful dinner with my dear friend, Gaisheda — a medicine person, tribal elder, and leader in earth-based spirituality. We first met years ago in India, and it remains one of my great joys in life to reconnect with friends like her when they pass through London.

She chose a gorgeous restaurant in South Kensington, and we caught up on everything from community to creativity to the threads of ancestral wisdom that continue to shape both our lives. She’s visiting from near Toronto, and with both of us carrying First Nation heritage, the conversation flowed in that deep, familiar way that feels like coming home.

We’ve planned a full weekend together — a few surprises tomorrow and a very big one on Sunday — so I’m looking forward to sharing more magical moments as they unfold.

And a Quiet Creative Milestone…

Another lovely moment this week has been seeing Mirror Mirror: Famous People and the Actors Who Portrayed Them (2021) featured on the front page of my newly updated website. It’s a small thing, but a meaningful one — a reminder of how far this project has travelled and how many stories it’s helped illuminate.

And now, Volume Two is officially in progress.

Early research is already underway, and returning to this material feels both inspiring and energising.

This book has had such an incredible journey, and it’s been wonderful expanding the conversation on film and astrology through my Astrology and Cinema in Reel Life podcast. You can listen on any app here: https://pod.link/1839607482

Feeling grateful tonight for friendship, reconnection, creative momentum, and this extraordinary city that keeps bringing good people together.

(And here’s a lovely photo of us from this evening.) Now onto Mirror Mirror Volume II!
