Steve Judd Name-Checks Alex Trenoweth in “From Rock Bottom to the Stars”!

I’m thrilled to share that world-renowned astrologer Steve Judd gave a special mention to me in his recent video “From Rock Bottom to the Stars.” In his heartfelt and inspiring talk, Steve reflects on the challenges he’s faced, the lessons learned, and the people who’ve made a lasting impression on his journey — including yours truly.

Steve Judd and Alex

Steve’s acknowledgment comes as a wonderful affirmation of the important work I continue to do in bridging astrology and education. Steve understands the dedication it has taken to understand child development through the lens of astrology and advocating for age-appropriate learning strategies and the impact it has had not just on clients and readers — but on fellow astrologers too. And I love him for it.

A huge thank you to Steve for his kind words and continued support. If you haven’t watched the video yet, it’s a powerful story of resilience and growth. You can view the shoutout here or view the whole video here.

Mayra Medina, of Backstage Asrology, is doing an incredible job with interviewing astrologers all over the world. I was honoured to be her first interviewee and–if I am allowed to say it–it’s one of my very favourite interviews. You can watch the whole thing here.

And if you’re new to my work, be sure to check out my new book “Zeus on the Loose: Empowering your child’s learning journey with astrology,” launching 13 August 2025 at Waterstones, Trafalgar Square. I’ll also be interviewed about my previous book: “Mirror Mirror”. Tickets here

A Historic Moment in Astrology

Being interviewed on Mirror Mirror at Waterstones is a historic moment for me and for astrology. To be invited to speak about astrology in film—especially in such a prestigious venue—signals a real turning point. Astrology has always had a place in storytelling, but it’s rarely explored seriously in cinema criticism. I feel honoured to bring a new perspective, showing how astrological symbolism can deepen our understanding of character, plot, and psychological development in film. This isn’t just about promoting astrology—it was about validating it as a rich, interpretive tool within mainstream culture. It truly felt like breaking new ground.

At the book launch, I’ll also have the opportunity to talk about my work in astrology and education.  For the first time, I will be able to speak publicly about the intersection of astrology and education in such a respected literary space. It feels like a long-overdue recognition of astrology’s value beyond horoscopes and stereotypes. I’ve spent years showing how astrology can support children’s development and help adults understand them better. To bring that message to a mainstream audience at Waterstones feels like astrology is finally being taken seriously—as a tool for insight, compassion, and meaningful change.

As someone who bridges the worlds of astrology and education, I believe my work is about more than just charts and predictions—it’s about understanding children at their core, in a respevtful and ethical manner. Astrology offers a unique lens through which we can recognise developmental timing, emotional needs, and learning styles. When teachers and parents have this insight, they can support children with far more empathy and precision. I’ve seen firsthand how transformative this can be. It’s not about labelling—it’s about empowering. My mission is to make astrology a practical tool for education and to help every child thrive in their own time.

A huge thank you to Steve Judd for helping me with my mission!
