And She’s Back

Before I get to my newest interview with Mystic Mag, here’s a little update on Alex’s little world:

I am now almost caught up on everything I fell behind with when I was ill over the spring.  A shoulder injury meant I had to take some painkillers which it turned out I had an intolerence to and then a persistent cough landed me in A and E. I don’t want to re-live the whole thing but let’s just say I’m very glad to be recovered. However, it is worth mentioning my cough meant I had to address underlying problems in my home. My consultant asked if I had a lot of books,

“Wellllllllll. . .” I began, “I guess it depends on what you mean by ‘a lot'”.

Anyway, the good doctor advised I have a look behind my bookshelves. I was still scoffing as I move my books away from the shelf. I had always thought I kept on top of the dusting but it turns out that dust has a way of. . .gathering. So I cleared my room completely and painted ceiling to floor, ripped up the old carpeting and had new carpeting fitted (it is part of my lease to have carpeting as I have downstairs neighbours). I thought it would be a fairly straightfoward job but it turns out I had a lot more stuff than I thought I did. Everything was organised, polished, buffed to its last, gasping breath and the things that had no life anymore went to the dustbin.

I now feel like I am ready for my second Saturn return which happens in about 10 months from now. Fresh, clean. organised. How’s that for assisting with my Saturn in PIsces?
