Safeguarding and Child Protection in Astrology: Level 1

Safeguarding and Child Protection are huge issues that can affect the world of astrology. In this 90-minute webinar, professional astrologer and school teacher Alex Trenoweth (who has extended experience and training in safeguarding and child protection), will explain what you can do, should not do and why when working with children’s charts.

The course will be via a live zoom link and Alex will be available to answer any questions you may have. A certificate from Rohini Academy of Astrology will be issued for successful completion.

• This course begins on  24 May 2025, 6pm (BST) for 5, 90 minute sessions each week until 21 June 2025
• Prerequisites for level 2 are a good understanding of transits and a familiarity with Solar Fire (or ephemeris or other astrology software)
• You will have the opportunity to ask questions and demonstrate your knowledge through studying your own chart

Further Study: Level 3 Practicum

• In this 5-week practicum, you will have the opportunity to practice what you have learned with other astrologers through exploring your own chart or other interesting charts that do not invade the privacy of the person in question.
• You must have successfully completed level 1 and 2
• The practicum will begin 28 June 2025 at 6pm (GMT) for 5 consecutive weeks until 26 July 2025

About the Tutor

Alex Trenoweth, MA (CAA), ISARCAP is an award-winning astrologer, author and professional school teacher. She is generally regarded as an authority figure on the topic of safeguarding and child protection inside and outside of the world of astrology. In 2015, she won “Best International Astrologer” for her research on the topic of Astrology and Education and she also won several other accolades at astrology conferences around the world. Alex has worked as an instructor for several astrology schools including Kepler College and the International Academy of Astrology. Additionally, she has served as President of CAPISAR and Director of Education for Kepler College.
