Ethical Astrology Education with Alex Trenoweth
The Rohini Academy of Astrology, founded by internationally recognized astrologer and educator Alex Trenoweth, offers specialist training in safeguarding, child protection, and ethical practice in astrology. These courses are designed for astrologers who want to work responsibly with families, children, and young people.
Alex brings her unique expertise as a qualified schoolteacher, international lecturer, and past president of CAPISAR and former Director of Education for Kepler College, blending professional child-protection standards with the wisdom of astrology.
Course Levels
Level 1 – Safeguarding & Child Protection (Required)
A foundational course covering the essential principles of safeguarding and child protection. Students learn the non-negotiable ethical standards required for working with children’s charts.
Level 2 – Foundations of Ethical Astrology for Children’s Charts
Building on Level 1, this course explores the sensitive nuances of interpreting children’s horoscopes. Topics include consent, parental involvement, and establishing healthy professional boundaries.
Level 3 – Practicum in Ethical Astrology
A hands-on course where students apply their learning in supervised case studies. Emphasis is placed on practice, reflection, and integrating safeguarding principles.
Certification
Graduates who successfully complete all three levels receive the Rohini Academy Certificate in Safeguarding and Child Protection in Astrology. This certificate is not only a mark of professional competence but also a public statement of ethical commitment in astrological practice.

Rohini Academy of Astrology was founded at a powerful cosmic moment—the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius—signaling new beginnings in collective learning. Guided by that inspiration, the Academy is dedicated to raising standards in astrological education with a strong emphasis on ethics, safeguarding, and thoughtful practice.
I bring to the Academy more than two decades of experience as both a teacher and astrologer. I hold the Diploma from the Faculty of Astrological Studies, certification with ISAR (CAP), and an MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. My background as a schoolteacher ensures that classes are structured, accessible, and grounded in sound pedagogy.
At heart, I remain an eternal student—an avid reader, researcher, and even a musician—always exploring new ways to connect ideas. Rohini Academy reflects that spirit of curiosity and integrity, welcoming students who want to deepen their astrological journey.
