The Rohini Academy Three-Level Learning Pathway

Complete, responsibility and research driven training in developmental astrology for astrologers who feel called to assist families with astrology.

The Rohini Academy of Astrology offers a unique three-level pathway designed to take you from foundational safeguarding awareness to full professional competency in developmental astrology. Each level builds on the last, ensuring you gain the skills, ethical grounding, and practical experience required to work safely and confidently with children, adolescents, families, and educators.

This pathway is the only one of its kind taught by an international astrologer who holds:

• A master’s degree in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology

• Formal teaching qualifications and nearly 30 years of classroom experience

• Full enhanced DBS clearance

• Specialist safeguarding and child-protection training

• Professional astrology diplomas from two major international bodies

It is, simply, the gold-standard route into ethical practice.

LEVEL 1 — Safeguarding & Child Protection Astrology

Prerequisite for all further study

Learn the essential foundations every astrologer must know before working with the charts of children, teenagers or families. This level establishes the ethical, legal and developmental boundaries required for responsible practice.

You will learn:

• What astrologers can and cannot say to parents

• How to avoid harm when discussing a child’s chart

• When to refer, when to pause, and when not to answer

• Basic developmental red flags and appropriate boundaries

• How to present information safely and respectfully

This level is mandatory for all students.

LEVEL 2 — Developmental Astrology & Behavioural Cycles

Requires completion of Level 1

This is the deep dive into the developmental cycles that shape childhood and adolescence, focusing on Jupiter, Saturn, and secondary progressions. You’ll learn how timing influences behaviour, learning patterns, emotional maturity and major life transitions.

You will learn:

• Jupiter cycles as learning and opportunity cycles

• Saturn cycles as structure, responsibility and growth

• How children learn at different ages

• How to identify strengths, vulnerabilities, and timing windows

• How to build age-appropriate interpretations

This level prepares you for real-world application and practitioner work.

LEVEL 3 — Practitioner-Level Developmental Astrology

Requires completion of Levels 1 & 2

The professional training year. Through structured case studies, ethical practice modules, and supervised application, you will learn how to conduct developmental readings responsibly and confidently.

You will learn:

• How to produce professional-level case studies

• How to translate developmental astrology into real client guidance

• Working with families, educators and young people

• Confidentiality, consent and ethical protocols

• When to refer to other professionals

• How to create practitioner-ready client products and reports

Successful graduates receive the Rohini Academy Certificate in Developmental Astrology, issued every July.
