Alex Trenoweth holds a BA, MA, and PGCE, and was professionally trained in education at University College London. Her work is shaped by decades of experience in educational settings, safeguarding practice, and sustained observational research, informing an evidence-aware and ethically grounded approach.
Alongside academic training for her MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology at Bath Spa University (2007), Alex Trenoweth undertook rigorous astrological training, including the Diploma from the prestigious Faculty of Astrological Studies at Oxford University, with advanced work in traditional astrology. She is the founder and principal of the Rohini Academy of Astrology, an institution dedicated to serious, research-led practice, particularly in work involving children and families.
She was a co-organiser of the 2018 East Meets West Astrology Conference for the Institute of Vedic Culture, bringing together Western and Vedic astrologers in an international academic and cultural exchange.
