Rohini Academy of Astrology (part 2)

Rohini Academy of Astrology

A few years ago, I began working on a Western Astrology syllabus for my Vedic students in India. Since then, I’ve been quietly working behind the scenes with private astrology students via my (very quiet) Rohini Academy of Astrology (RAA). However, after some soul-searching, I decided to open the doors of Rohini Academy of Astrology (RAA) to the public. Opening a school is a big job and to help me, I’ve asked my good friend and astrobrother Ehsan Khazeni to be the Director of Studies. We both thought our partnership could ensure an excellent cross-pollination of East and West as well as North and South.

Ehsan held a competition amongst his own students to produce a professional logo for RAA. I’m pleased to say, Pari Naaz was the winner!

You may recognise the name “Rohini” as one of the nakshatras. Rohini is ruled by Aldebaran, “The Red One” and it is represented by. . .a red haired woman (and a chariot)! It took me a long time to find the perfect logo and I’ll be sharing more of this journey in future posts.

So while Ehsan and I work on the details of the syllabus, here are a few features of RAA. . .

  1. Respect. Scholarship. Diversity. We’re all about learning from teachers (and students!) from all cultures around the world
  2. We will offer classes for absolute beginners all the way through to advanced students
  3. As we are online, we will offer value-for-money learning as we have no physical structures to fund.
  4. Lots more to come! Please subscribe while we put on the finishing touches! You’ll be one of the first to know of competitions, giveaways, discounts and much more!
