The Moon is now moving through your first house, the sector of the chart that rules your appearance and how you project your image to the rest of the world. This is it. This is your opportunity to be totally indulgent and to demand that others serve you for a change. Put on some glamorous clothes that make you feel good and pretty you are the King/Queen for the day. You’ll feel better for it and you’ll remind people who they’re dealing with.

You’re in a reflective mood today and you’re wearing your heart on your sleeve too. It’s one of those days when you need to treat yourself to the same kindness you show to other people. Rest, eat well, take a long bath and reach out to people that you know will support you. Pay no attention to those who think they can undermine you.

11 February 2021

In a few days’ time, you can set your intentions for the month ahead. See how much progress you can make on your goals by the next Full Moon on 27 February!

New Moon in Aquarius: 11 February

This indicates a good time to begin s course of meditation or psychic studies—or to even begin learning a new instrument. Your imagination is greatly heightened so ensure you understand what is really going on before acting on new information.

Full Moon in Virgo: 27 February

Personal relationships fall under the spotlight and for those who are less enlightened, arguments with loved ones can escalate to unmanageable levels. Be honest but more importantly, clear about what your needs are and don’t promise more than you can honour. And don’t let minor issues become major ones.

Over the past few days, you have been able to consider which friendships are worth keeping and which ones are better off if you could release them. You enjoy supporting the underdogs in life but as recent events are still on your mind, it is worth you considering if all your work and commitment is worth it. Honestly, what do you get from giving all the time and yet receiving nothing in return?

9 February 2021

As the current lunar cycle comes to a finish, the Moon and Pluto make a powerful connection today. This can be an emotionally intense time with misunderstandings that could leave to long-lasting repercussions. The difficulties will typically stem from people being overly sensitive and reading far more into the situation than the situation actually deserves. Be clear about your intentions both in thought and action and if you have it in your head that you can pull the wool over someone’s eyes, a word of advice: don’t even try it today.

You might want to stay away from petty quarrels today because it will seem that everyone wants to make a mountain out of a molehill. If you can’t tear your eyes away from the drama, be sure you keep your opinions to yourself. The last thing you need is to be dragged into more craziness and confusion. People are just too touchy to be reasonable today and you are far more sensitive to look at things on a surface level.

If any planetary connection could describe 2021, then the challenging one between Saturn and Uranus would be it. Uranus is the ripper of rule books, the angry cries of protesters and the preserver of individual rights and identity while Saturn strives to maintain the very foundations of our society that we have come to trust and rely on. Changes rarely occur without difficulties or resistance but we would be wise to look at the world we live in with wisdom and without fear. This Saturn-Uranus connection happens about every eleven years and what we are currently working with in 2021 is the final push to find a way to welcome the new while honouring the old.

Saturn is now moving through your twelfth house, the sector of the chart that rules the need for privacy and solitude. Uranus moving through your third house, the sector of the chart that rules communication and the people who live close to you, invites you to consider how you can help your local community. Being charitable is second nature to you but you may be asking yourself what more you can do or how you can work more effectively.

You’re feeling in charge today but this won’t stop confusion and hurt feelings if you’re not careful. It’s frustrating because you have to do something over or give instructions more than you would have liked but today is one of those days when people are a little dozy. But look beneath surface of the doziness—it could be a form of resistance.

What you have been trying to say has either been totally lost in translation or the message has fallen on deaf ears. It is imperative that you take a few steps back to think about what you want to get across before you even attempt to communicate what it is you want to accomplish. It is frustrating to be misunderstood and perhaps downright annoying to be ignored. But you can be far clearer about what you need with a little more effort.

horoscopes by Alex Trenoweth

I had to take a couple of days off of writing horoscopes. I had some difficult family news to process and although the horoscopes are written ahead of time, the posting can be quite time consuming.

Congratulations to the US on the inauguration of a new president! I’ve heard many astrologers speculate that the time of the handover had been adjusted to avoid the Moon being in final degree of Aries. Could Joe Biden have a secret astrologer like the Reagans did?

However, I wanted to point out that the only planets not in a harsh connection on Inauguration Day were Venus and Neptune. The presidential celebrations included performances by prominent female singers, a beautiful new US Vice President (the first female to hold this position)—and a show-stealing poem by Amanda Gorman who was handpicked by the new First Lady. What a great way to focus on the beautiful energy of the day and to ignore the conflict that had threatened to ruin it.

Today Venus will move even closer to Neptune and will become exact in the early hours of tomorrow. It’s not too late for you to follow Biden’s example and use this energy to your advantage.

Venus is now moving through your eleventh house, the sector of the chart that rules your group of extended friends such as those on social media. Neptune is now moving through your ninth house, the sector of the chart that rules higher education and philosophy. This combination gives you the opportunity to promote friendly or even romantic relationships. If you are in isolation due to Lockdown, take some time to enjoy the beauty in nature, listen to inspiring music and if you can find a way, connect (safely) with the people who bring out the beauty in you.

Horoscopes by Alex Trenoweth

I know you’re probably thinking about Inauguration Day tomorrow but I promised a little British Royal Family today and here goes. . .

The Jupiter/Saturn conjunction took place at zero degrees Aquarius where the Sun will be tomorrow. The main players of the Royal Family (The Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William and his son George) all have planets connected to this. But, even more interesting, the current Uranus/Mars conjunction will be on the same degree of Taurus where Uranus was some 84 years ago when the Abdication Crisis culminated with the King of England renouncing throne and his brother (the current Queen’s father) taking over. The Queen’s age means she is due to hand over the reins of the British Monarchy to her son Charles. All eyes on the Royal family in the coming days!

Now onto today’s horoscopes.

At 20:39 GMT, the Sun will move out of Capricorn and into Aquarius, making today a final chance to tidy up any loose ends and prepare for new beginnings. The final or first degrees of a sign are potent points of changing energy and the planet passing through these points colour how we ourselves are changing. As the Sun changes signs once per month, it will not be at 29 Capricorn again until this time next year (on the 20 January 2022 at 2:39 GMT in case you were wondering!).

The Sun is now about to move into your twelfth house, the sector of the chart that rules the need for privacy and solitude. You can stop being so focused on the constant stream of conversations that seem to serve to ruin your peace of mind. The next few weeks should be filled with a much calmer activities and opportunities to support other people in the ways only you can. Today is a great day for planning how you’d like to do this.

Horoscopes by Alex Trenoweth

The Moon will move into the sign of Aries this morning (London UK time) where it will stay right up until Joe Biden is sworn in on 20 January 2021 at noon (White House time). We’ve left behind the peace of Pisces and now we’re blazing into fight mode. However, later in the day, the Moon will pass over Chiron, The Wounded Healer. We have all had painful memories and as a collective, today is a day of reflecting on the Pain of women in particular. It is this pain that will be carrying forward as Biden is sworn in. I am sure as a woman Kamala Harris has had to endure a lot of suffering to get to where she is. As America swears in the first female vice president, I have high hopes that though tired and weary with all our problems, we can work together to address how we can heal ourselves. Let us use today for thinking about what more we can do.

I have a few things to say about the British Royal Family but I’ll save it for tomorrow.

The Moon is now moving through your second house, the sector of the chart that rules finances. Many people are suffering financial hardship and if you are one of them, today is a day of truly being grateful for what you do have. If you’re feeling flush, then why not share your fortune with someone who could really use it? You’ll feel good about what you’ve done for a long time to come.

The challenging connections between planets in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus continues today. However, compassionate Moon in Pisces reminds us of the importance of being prepared to be flexible with unprecedented changes and tolerant of the ‘new normal’.  The message today is all about being adaptable and tolerant of the things you cannot control.

The Moon is now moving through your first house, the sector of the chart that rules your appearance and how you project your image to the rest of the world. You should feel—and look–great. Even if you think no one is going to see you, take a little time to sparkle and shine. You never know who is watching but with just a little bit of extra effort. you can make a wonderful and lasting impression.

Alex Trenoweth horoscopes

Today is the big showdown between Jupiter, the planet of growth and opportunity, and Uranus, the planet of sudden surprises. Just when you think you have everything planned out and in order, something comes along and forces you to change your direction. This doesn’t have to be a bad thing. Very often Uranus gives us just the right amount of discomfort to get us to be inventive about getting the problem fixed.

Jupiter is now moving through your twelfth house, the sector of the chart that rules the need for privacy and solitude. In many ways your predicament is a mere reflection of what is going on around the world. Trapped in our homes, we have no choice but to find ways of growing and thriving away from the public eye. It can be a prison but it can also be anything your imagination allows it to be. Let that be your message today.

Horoscopes by Alex Trenoweth

With the Sun connecting to Pluto and the Moon connecting to Jupiter and Saturn, today is an astrologically busy day. In mythology, Hercules had to fight the deadly Hydra but in order to defeat the monster, he had to delve deep into the murky depths to lift what he feared to the light. Today is a day of gains and losses but also a day to re-evaluate what we are frightened of and to prepare ourselves for ultimate victory.

The Sun and Pluto are now moving through your eleventh house, the sector of the chart that rules your group of extended friends such as those on social media. Being in crowds tends to be something you would rather avoid because it is so easy for you to become disoriented.  However, there is something very unique about the way you are able to navigate yourself (and others) through any sort of fog that is truly remarkable today. Whatever you do, keep doing it. We’ve much to learn from you.

Today’s New Moon in Capricorn connects with Pluto, the planet of destruction and re-birth. Pluto has a fearsome reputation but if used constructively and with purpose, this energy can be the catalyst for healing and for letting go of things that can be harmful to us. Spend today contemplating the habits you would like to change in your life. This is a great time to clear the slate and to introduce positive behaviours that can help you reach your goals with clarity of purpose. In a few days time, you can set your intentions into motion for a successful month ahead.

The Moon is now moving through your eleventh house, the sector of the chart that rules your group of extended friends such as those on social media.  Isn’t it about time that you purged yourself of the people who do nothing but take from you? Focus on the people who support you and show how much you appreciate them. Use today to prepare yourself for getting rid of the background noise of continual social distractions.

Horoscopes by Alex Trenoweth

In just over a day’s time, the Moon will reach the end of its cycle and a new cycle will begin. This time is known as the dark time of the Moon, when the night is truly full of hidden surprises and unaided by natural light. Before electric lights, this was the time when secret trysts took place under the cover of darkness. However, it is important to remember that the smallest amount of light will always scatter the shadows. Where will you shine your light today?

The Moon is now moving through your eleventh house, the sector of the chart that rules your group of extended friends such as those on social media. You can easily feel overwhelmed or even invisible if there’s a crowd but today is a day to stand out from everyone else and make your voice heard. Horoscopes from Alex Trenoweth

Venus in Capricorn chases Mars in Taurus as the Moon shines on benevolently. Today is a great day to enjoy the outdoors and appreciate the natural beauty of the Earth. Grab your honey’s hand and go for a long walk. If social distancing has you more isolated than holding hands will allow, you can marvel at beauty and kindness in your heart (be sure to share it whatever way you can!).

Today Venus gives you the charm it takes to get other people to cooperate with you, particularly if you are a part of a group or organisation. It’s a good day to increase the membership of affiliations and to generally provide information of what it is you want to collectively achieve. Uncharacteristically, you put a lot of effort into saying what you need and of course, you say it so well. Today could be one of those days when you surprise people with your focus and attention to detail.

horoscopes by Alex Trenoweth

The Moon in Sagittarius makes an uncomfortable connection to the planet Uranus today. When we ask a question but don’t like the answer we get, we begin raging against the obligations and sense of duty to which we find ourselves bound. Like petulant children who have been denied the junk food we demand, we have to eventually accept that no one has given in to our demands no matter how much noise we have made. We can either accept or we can continue being stuck in a tantrum. Will you move on or will you continue to stamp your feet? Be still and listen to the advice. It may not be such a terrible thing after all.

The Moon is now moving through your tenth house, the sector of the chart that rules your career and reputation. It isn’t all about your success. Sometimes it is about those near misses. Back up a bit a try to discover your mistakes. Do not be afraid! As the angels said there is great news for those who behold.

Horoscopes by Alex Trenoweth

A few weeks ago, the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in Aquarius hit the headlines owing to its rarity. The last time these planets were at this position, the 3rdcrusade of the 12thcentury was in full swing. The 3rdcrusade was the attempt of the most powerful states of Western Christianity to re-capture Jerusalem.  This week the planet Mercury joins this conjunction making it a “Triple Conjunction” every bit as rare and newsworthy as the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction and certainly well deserving of capital letters. On top of this, Mercury as well as Venus and Mars all entered new signs over the past day. We may feel as if we are on our own personal crusade to forge new alliances in one way or another. Perhaps we are called to unite our voices to speak out about the inequality experienced in the world today and the astrological house this conjunction falls in describes the realm of you your life you feel compelled to fight for.

The Triple Conjunction is now moving through your twelfth house, the sector of the chart that rules the need for privacy and solitude. You’ve always had a soft spot for the Underdog and these times are no exception. The undercurrents have been disturbing you for some time and yet you are no fan of open warfare. Your best defence is a supportive one. Look after those who are suffering and you will make yourself absolutely invaluable.

horoscopes by Alex Trenoweth

Later today Mercury movies into the sign of Aquarius, signalling a shift in the way we should communicate to get our important ideas across to others. Aquarius calls on us to be inventive and to think outside the box of convention. Listen out for new ideas that may seem unusual (even in these days) or rule-bending of the masses. Venus is also on the move as she leaves carefree Sagittarius and enters into the realm of responsibility in Capricorn.

Mercury is now moving through your twelfth house, the sector of the chart that rules the need for privacy and solitude while Venus encourages you to be sociable. This can be a difficult balance to get right but if you use your considerable intuition, you can navigate the twists and turns of human interaction with aplomb. If you can be clear with what it is you need, you will find that others are more than willing to offer their support.

Alex Trenoweth horoscopes

The planet Mars moved into Taurus late yesterday and by the end of the today, the Moon in Scorpio will form a challenging opposition. Mars is about our drives and motivations. In Aries, we see impulsiveness and lack of thought whereas in Taurus, life may seem to take on a more leisurely approach. However, it is worth noting that in 2020, Mars stayed in its own sign of Aries for most of the year. In 2021 however, it will speed through no less than 6 signs by the end of the year. The flux of changing energies will keep us on our toes yet challenge us to be flexible with how we do what we do.

Mars is now moving through your third house, the sector of the chart that rules communication and the people who live close to you. You may have fretted over your financial affairs the past few months but what lessons you have learned about fund-raising! Now it’s time to put all those skills to work by reaching out and getting involved with (socially distanced) neighbourhood activities. Everyone needs someone who can charm the pennies out of the pockets of the tightest trousers.

The Moon is Libra today, marking the final quarter of this lunar phase. This is a time of making preparations for the New Moon next week by finalising the projects that you started a couple of weeks ago and can now begin putting together new ideas for your next steps. The Moon in Libra asks us to work well together, to use diplomacy in all our relationships and to remind ourselves that a few manners go a long way.

The Moon is now moving through your eighth house, the sector of the chart that rules the parts of our lives that we share with others. Like the other water signs, today is a day that favours quiet time on your own—away from social media and other distractions. Ponder upon the Greater Mysteries of life, read a good detective novel or watch a horror film. Today is about tackling the hidden side of life and walking—at least metaphorically—on the Dark Side.

By exact degree, Mercury finally meets up with Pluto in the sign of Capricorn today. It is a powerful alliance that has far-reaching consequences for every unguarded word you may choose to speak. Although this connection happens each year (sometimes more often with Mercury Retrograde), the Moon adds strength to our feelings and encourages us to use our emotions to guide our decisions. Use the power of communication wisely.

Mercury and Pluto are now moving through your eleventh house, the sector of the chart that rules your group of extended friends such as those on social media. Be aware of the power you demonstrate on social media. You may be a silent lurker but these days it really doesn’t take much to expose anyone who has been hiding in the shadows. If this feels uncomfortable to you, put some effort into double checking your passwords and security systems..

For the past few days, the Moon has been in a challenging connection to Uranus, the planet of sudden surprises. The result may have been emotional flare-ups that seemed to have come out of nowhere. Today is good day to put out the flames of the drama and work towards resolutions.

The Moon is now moving through your seventh house, the sector of the chart that rules your relationships with other people. You may have found it difficult to know what it is you should do next. With so much information and last minute changes of plan, it has been a challenge for you to prioritise what is important. Today seems a lot calmer, giving a few minutes to catch your breath and find some clarity of thought.

Moon in Virgo

The Moon changes Sign and House about every two days. Finding the rhythm of the Moon as she waxes and wanes can help you monitor and manage your moods. Early this morning, the Moon will leave Leo and move into the sign of Virgo. It is a time of clearing our space to make room for the blessings of the Virgin Goddess.

The Moon is now moving through your solar seventh house, the sector of the chart that rules your relationships with other people. If it’s been reasonably peaceful after the holiday season, today is a day that might break the silence. Enjoy playing host. They say like attracts like so the company you keep may reveal a lot about who you really are.

Alex Trenoweth Horoscopes 2021

For the next few days the planet Mercury will form a challenging link to Mars. The words you hear may sound harsh or even unpleasant while the words you say may sound more hostile and provocative than you intend. Of course sometimes situations call for assertiveness and firm boundaries but you would do well to remember that there will be consequences.

Mercury is now moving through your solar eleventh house, the sector of the chart that rules your group of extended friends such as those on social media. The holiday season is always a good excuse to overspend but now you need to rein in any temptation—and not feel pressured by what your connections are saying about the next great investment. You may feel frustrated by not being able to keep up with the latest trends but your wallet will thank you for your discipline.

Alex Trenoweth Horoscopes

Hail and Welcome 2021.

This morning, the Moon moves out of opposition with Jupiter and Saturn. As these planets were square to Uranus, it looks like last night was a wild one with some unexpected surprises thrown into the mix. However, this morning as we pick up the pieces and clear up the mess of 2020, let’s be very careful of what are throwing away. As a global community, we have had to re-assess what is important to us: the family we have gathered around us during lockdown, the treasures we had forgotten we are blessed with and the chilling reality of the delicate balance that we live in.

Hail and Farewell 2020.

What all this means for you

The Moon is now moving through your solar sixth house, the sector of the chart that rules how you serve other people. You may have felt that your workload has been too much to bear. But never fear because no one likes to see you struggling. However, before your belief in altruism is restored, remember that other people understand exactly what you can offer them. So during this quiet morning of reflection, remember that you have every right to call in on a few favours.

From our point of view, the Moon is the fastest moving planet while Pluto is the slowest. Although the Moon will be in opposition to Pluto about once per month, the God of the Underworld will spend several years in each solar house. It is worth finding the rhythm of this difficult connection so it can be used to help you get in touch with your deep and hidden inner emotions.’ Sit’ with your feelings, give yourself space to turn them over in your mind and recall memories from the past. Spend the last few moments of 2020 clearing energy space for 2021.

Pluto is now moving through your solar eleventh house, the sector of the chart that rules your group of extended friends such as those on social media. Deep-seated emotions may have their roots feeling your friendships lack commitment or devotion. What is the source of these feelings? And what can you do to change how you feel? Now that the world relies on the internet more and more every day, you have no choice but to allow your imagination to come up with new ways of building social ties.
