The Moon is now moving through your sixth house, the sector of the chart that rules how you serve other people. High emotions have been troubling you and being the diplomat that you are, you have not wanted to say anything. Just for today, put your foot down (politely of course) when someone says or does something you don’t like. You may need to agree to disagree on how things should change but at least you’ve made your feelings known.

Today just may be your lucky day! Indulge yourself as much as you can and if the urge to take a little gamble tempts you, go for it. Get the fancy clothes out and pretend you are having high tea at Buckingham Palace. As Scarlett O’Hara once said: “Tomorrow is another day”. Enjoy and have fun.

Well roll up your sleeves and get started on that job you’ve been putting off. Don’t even think of delegating it to someone else—this is a job only you can do well. Can’t think of anything to do? Then it’s time to see where you are needed the most. Everyone could use a little help and your input, advice and hard work will be greatly appreciated. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and develop new skills.

Families always bring their own particular brand of stress and worry. Part of the worries are due to us being ‘familiar’ with those are close to us and when they behave in unexpected ways, it creates tensions. It can be tempting for you to gloss over the resulting difficulties by pretending everything is OK. However, if you can face up to what is wrong, you can do something to fix it.

Saturn is now moving through your fifth house, the sector of the chart that rules how you express your creativity. Uranus moving through your eighth house, the sector of the chart that rules the parts of our lives that we share with others, invites you to evaluate the nature of your most important relationships. Very often this will involve an honest look at how you work together, how your values are similar and how you can appreciate all your differences.

As you know all too well, misunderstandings over money can lead to a lot of heartache. Now that the worst is over, you can perhaps see that you’ve let your worries and concerns affect how you behaved. It isn’t a bad thing to be so passionate about something you really believe in but maybe now you can be a little more aware of how your fears can lead you to do unexpected things. Take a deep breath and know you are safe.

I had to take a couple of days off of writing horoscopes. I had some difficult family news to process and although the horoscopes are written ahead of time, the posting can be quite time consuming.
Congratulations to the US on the inauguration of a new president! I’ve heard many astrologers speculate that the time of the handover had been adjusted to avoid the Moon being in final degree of Aries. Could Joe Biden have a secret astrologer like the Reagans did?
However, I wanted to point out that the only planets not in a harsh connection on Inauguration Day were Venus and Neptune. The presidential celebrations included performances by prominent female singers, a beautiful new US Vice President (the first female to hold this position)—and a show-stealing poem by Amanda Gorman who was handpicked by the new First Lady. What a great way to focus on the beautiful energy of the day and to ignore the conflict that had threatened to ruin it.
Today Venus will move even closer to Neptune and will become exact in the early hours of tomorrow. It’s not too late for you to follow Biden’s example and use this energy to your advantage.
Venus is now moving through your fourth house, the sector of the chart that rules the past. Neptune is now moving through your second house, the sector of the chart that rules finances. This combination gives you the opportunity to promote friendly or even romantic relationships. If you are in isolation due to Lockdown, take some time to enjoy the beauty in nature, listen to inspiring music and if you can find a way, connect (safely) with the people who bring out the beauty in you.

I know you’re probably thinking about Inauguration Day tomorrow but I promised a little British Royal Family today and here goes. . .
The Jupiter/Saturn conjunction took place at zero degrees Aquarius where the Sun will be tomorrow. The main players of the Royal Family (The Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William and his son George) all have planets connected to this. But, even more interesting, the current Uranus/Mars conjunction will be on the same degree of Taurus where Uranus was some 84 years ago when the Abdication Crisis culminated with the King of England renouncing throne and his brother (the current Queen’s father) taking over. The Queen’s age means she is due to hand over the reins of the British Monarchy to her son Charles. All eyes on the Royal family in the coming days!
Now onto today’s horoscopes.
At 20:39 GMT, the Sun will move out of Capricorn and into Aquarius, making today a final chance to tidy up any loose ends and prepare for new beginnings. The final or first degrees of a sign are potent points of changing energy and the planet passing through these points colour how we ourselves are changing. As the Sun changes signs once per month, it will not be at 29 Capricorn again until this time next year (on the 20 January 2022 at 2:39 GMT in case you were wondering!).
The Sun is now about to move into your fifth house, the sector of the chart that rules how you express your creativity. You can stop being so focused on dealing with complicated family issues. The next few weeks should be filled restoring peace in and doing the activities you enjoy (within reason of course). Today is a great day for planning how you’d like to do this.

The Moon will move into the sign of Aries this morning (London UK time) where it will stay right up until Joe Biden is sworn in on 20 January 2021 at noon (White House time). We’ve left behind the peace of Pisces and now we’re blazing into fight mode. However, later in the day, the Moon will pass over Chiron, The Wounded Healer. We have all had painful memories and as a collective, today is a day of reflecting on the Pain of women in particular. It is this pain that will be carrying forward as Biden is sworn in. I am sure as a woman Kamala Harris has had to endure a lot of suffering to get to where she is. As America swears in the first female vice president, I have high hopes that though tired and weary with all our problems, we can work together to address how we can heal ourselves. Let us use today for thinking about what more we can do.
I have a few things to say about the British Royal Family but I’ll save it for tomorrow.
The Moon is now moving through your seventh house, the sector of the chart that rules your relationships with other people. People sometimes lash out with harsh words or even get physical when they become angry. But you are not the reason every time. Remember this when you have to deal with an angry person today. Sometimes letting a temper run its course (and you safely out of the way) can help someone who is struggling.

The effects of those challenging planetary connections will still be felt for some time to come. In the midst of conflict and strife, it is important to be able to find quiet spaces to allow your mind to process all that is going on around you. The Moon is currently moving through the sign of Pisces and passing over the planet Neptune giving you the opportunity to find solace.

The challenging connections between planets in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus continues today. However, compassionate Moon in Pisces reminds us of the importance of being prepared to be flexible with unprecedented changes and tolerant of the ‘new normal’. The message today is all about being adaptable and tolerant of the things you cannot control.
The Moon is now moving through your sixth house, the sector of the chart that rules how you serve other people. Today is all about focusing on the details. As much as you’d like to hope that no one sees the cracks, it may seem as if there is a spotlight on your faults. If you can take this with good humour, everyone else can as well. There’s nothing wrong with being less than imperfect.

Today is the big showdown between Jupiter, the planet of growth and opportunity, and Uranus, the planet of sudden surprises. Just when you think you have everything planned out and in order, something comes along and forces you to change your direction. This doesn’t have to be a bad thing. Very often Uranus gives us just the right amount of discomfort to get us to be inventive about getting the problem fixed.
Jupiter is now moving through your fifth house, the sector of the chart that rules how you express your creativity. The last thing you need when planning a social event (online of course) is for some technical hitch at the last moment. You may not be able to prevent glitches but you can have an alternative plan in place. Someone else to be your back-up is exactly what you need. To be fore-warned is to be fore-armed as they say.

With the Sun connecting to Pluto and the Moon connecting to Jupiter and Saturn, today is an astrologically busy day. In mythology, Hercules had to fight the deadly Hydra but in order to defeat the monster, he had to delve deep into the murky depths to lift what he feared to the light. Today is a day of gains and losses but also a day to re-evaluate what we are frightened of and to prepare ourselves for ultimate victory.
The Sun and Pluto are now moving through your fourth house, the sector of the chart that rules the past. It is hard to let go of things when you know the resolution is unsatisfactory. Sometimes all you can do is give in to imperfection but this is not one of those times. What is bothering you with how things have ended? More importantly, what can you do to prevent this type of situation from happening again?

Today’s New Moon in Capricorn connects with Pluto, the planet of destruction and re-birth. Pluto has a fearsome reputation but if used constructively and with purpose, this energy can be the catalyst for healing and for letting go of things that can be harmful to us. Spend today contemplating the habits you would like to change in your life. This is a great time to clear the slate and to introduce positive behaviours that can help you reach your goals with clarity of purpose. In a few days time, you can set your intentions into motion for a successful month ahead.
The Moon is now moving through your fourth house, the sector of the chart that rules the past. Our relationship with our elders is something that should be honoured and cultivated through memory. What have they taught you? What will you pass on to your own children or to the young people you are in contact with? Use today to prepare yourself for being a positive influence in the future.

In just over a day’s time, the Moon will reach the end of its cycle and a new cycle will begin. This time is known as the dark time of the Moon, when the night is truly full of hidden surprises and unaided by natural light. Before electric lights, this was the time when secret trysts took place under the cover of darkness. However, it is important to remember that the smallest amount of light will always scatter the shadows. Where will you shine your light today?
The Moon is now moving through your fourth house, the sector of the chart that rules the past. You tend to hold emotions at an arm’s length but every now and again, even you can be overcome by sadness and regrets from the past. It is important for you to be optimistic and to look for all the things that have gone exactly the way you had planned. Life is simply too short to worry about the things we can’t change.

Venus in Capricorn chases Mars in Taurus as the Moon shines on benevolently. Today is a great day to enjoy the outdoors and appreciate the natural beauty of the Earth. Grab your honey’s hand and go for a long walk. If social distancing has you more isolated than holding hands will allow, you can marvel at beauty and kindness in your heart (be sure to share it whatever way you can!).
Today Venus gives you the charm it takes to work behind the scenes. It may seem to you that you are not needed but this is far from the truth. In large scale projects, very often it is the smaller jobs that drive the entire system to success. Your diplomatic abilities can boost flagging morale and motivate others to continue their drive to success. It may seem like just another quiet day for you but if you stick with it, you will gain unexpected advantages.

The Moon in Sagittarius makes an uncomfortable connection to the planet Uranus today. When we ask a question but don’t like the answer we get, we begin raging against the obligations and sense of duty to which we find ourselves bound. Like petulant children who have been denied the junk food we demand, we have to eventually accept that no one has given in to our demands no matter how much noise we have made. We can either accept or we can continue being stuck in a tantrum. Will you move on or will you continue to stamp your feet? Be still and listen to the advice. It may not be such a terrible thing after all.
The Moon is now moving through your third house, the sector of the chart that rules communication and the people who live close to you. Talk all you like and you’ll never get to the bottom of what is bothering you. How about listening? Your problem is that you’re shouting far too much.

A few weeks ago, the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in Aquarius hit the headlines owing to its rarity. The last time these planets were at this position, the 3rdcrusade of the 12thcentury was in full swing. The 3rdcrusade was the attempt of the most powerful states of Western Christianity to re-capture Jerusalem. This week the planet Mercury joins this conjunction making it a “Triple Conjunction” every bit as rare and newsworthy as the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction and certainly well deserving of capital letters. On top of this, Mercury as well as Venus and Mars all entered new signs over the past day. We may feel as if we are on our own personal crusade to forge new alliances in one way or another. Perhaps we are called to unite our voices to speak out about the inequality experienced in the world today and the astrological house this conjunction falls in describes the realm of you your life you feel compelled to fight for.
The Triple Conjunction is now moving through your sixth house, the sector of the chart that rules how you serve other people. With the state of the earth as it is, you probably feel very strongly about conservation and the rights of animals. Creating a campaign to inform others of your strong beliefs may be tempting but are others likely to take what you say on board? Well, if they don’t you’ll certainly find a way to get their attention.

Later today Mercury movies into the sign of Aquarius, signalling a shift in the way we should communicate to get our important ideas across to others. Aquarius calls on us to be inventive and to think outside the box of convention. Listen out for new ideas that may seem unusual (even in these days) or rule-bending of the masses. Venus is also on the move as she leaves carefree Sagittarius and enters into the realm of responsibility in Capricorn.
Mercury is now moving through your fifth house, the sector of the chart that rules how you Piscesexpress your creativity while Venus saunters through your house of memories. It’s a great time to sort through the family album or to encourage young people to do the same. Photographs can also serve as a great stimulus for writing projects or other ways of preserving the past for future generations.

The planet Mars moved into Taurus late yesterday and by the end of the today, the Moon in Scorpio will form a challenging opposition. Mars is about our drives and motivations. In Aries, we see impulsiveness and lack of thought whereas in Taurus, life may seem to take on a more leisurely approach. However, it is worth noting that in 2020, Mars stayed in its own sign of Aries for most of the year. In 2021 however, it will speed through no less than 6 signs by the end of the year. The flux of changing energies will keep us on our toes yet challenge us to be flexible with how we do what we do.
Mars is now moving through your eighth house, the sector of the chart that rules the parts of our lives that we share with others. Your focus is naturally on relationships and diplomacy so the past few months may have felt as if you were too busy putting out the fires to concentrate on what is important to you. Now however, you are starting to understand why it was so important for you to ensure people are nicer to each other: you are needed to help coordinate business deals.

The Moon is Libra today, marking the final quarter of this lunar phase. This is a time of making preparations for the New Moon next week by finalising the projects that you started a couple of weeks ago and can now begin putting together new ideas for your next steps. The Moon in Libra asks us to work well together, to use diplomacy in all our relationships and to remind ourselves that a few manners go a long way.
The Moon is now moving through your first house, the sector of the chart that rules your appearance and how you project your image to the rest of the world. You spend a lot of time worrying about others so why not spend today on yourself? As we’re all in Lockdown (well at least we are here in England!), it’s been a challenge to keep up with our beauty routines. Have a think about what you miss the most and how you can replicate what you used to do.

By exact degree, Mercury finally meets up with Pluto in the sign of Capricorn today. It is a powerful alliance that has far-reaching consequences for every unguarded word you may choose to speak. Although this connection happens each year (sometimes more often with Mercury Retrograde), the Moon adds strength to our feelings and encourages us to use our emotions to guide our decisions. Use the power of communication wisely.
Mercury and Pluto are now moving through your fourth house, the sector of the chart that rules the past. Memories are likely to be invoked during this time and you may discover your ruminations don’t quite match those of those who are nearest and dearest to you. These kinds of differences can give everyone involved the opportunity to compare notes and eventually allow for revision. Listen carefully for the family gems that can be passed on to future generations.

For the past few days, the Moon has been in a challenging connection to Uranus, the planet of sudden surprises. The result may have been emotional flare-ups that seemed to have come out of nowhere. Today is good day to put out the flames of the drama and work towards resolutions.
The Moon is now moving through your twelfth house, the sector of the chart that rules the need for privacy and solitude. You may have found it difficult to understand where others are coming from. Just when you think you have it all sorted out, you discover you didn’t know as much as you thought. However, as the day goes on, you will begin to understand that perhaps these are not things to worry about. Enjoy the peace and quiet.

The Moon changes Sign and House about every two days. Finding the rhythm of the Moon as she waxes and wanes can help you monitor and manage your moods. Early this morning, the Moon will leave Leo and move into the sign of Virgo. It is a time of clearing our space to make room for the blessings of the Virgin Goddess.
The Moon is now moving through your twelfth house, the sector of the chart that rules the need for privacy and solitude. You may not be in the mood for company or the dramas others can create. Be still in yourself, listen to some music or just let your imagination roam where it wants to.

For the next few days the planet Mercury will form a challenging link to Mars. The words you hear may sound harsh or even unpleasant while the words you say may sound more hostile and provocative than you intend. Of course sometimes situations call for assertiveness and firm boundaries but you would do well to remember that there will be consequences.
Mercury is now moving through your fourth house, the sector of the chart that rules the past. The holidays usually give us a chance to catch up with family members but with much of the world facing social restrictions, it has taken some creativity to make this work. This of course has been difficult for sociable people such as you. It’s a great time for you to take a trip down Memory Lane so why not pick up the phone and reach out to loved ones?

Hail and Welcome 2021.
This morning, the Moon moves out of opposition with Jupiter and Saturn. As these planets were square to Uranus, it looks like last night was a wild one with some unexpected surprises thrown into the mix. However, this morning as we pick up the pieces and clear up the mess of 2020, let’s be very careful of what are throwing away. As a global community, we have had to re-assess what is important to us: the family we have gathered around us during lockdown, the treasures we had forgotten we are blessed with and the chilling reality of the delicate balance that we live in.
Hail and Farewell 2020.
What all this means for you
The Moon is now moving through your eleventh house, the sector of the chart that rules your group of extended friends such as those on social media. You may have felt that there are just too many people to get to know better on your own terms but you only have to give a little shout for those who truly matter to you to come at your beckoning. So during this quiet morning of reflection, remember it really is those more intimate relationships that count.

From our point of view, the Moon is the fastest moving planet while Pluto is the slowest. Although the Moon will be in opposition to Pluto about once per month, the God of the Underworld will spend several years in each solar house. It is worth finding the rhythm of this difficult connection so it can be used to help you get in touch with your deep and hidden inner emotions.’ Sit’ with your feelings, give yourself space to turn them over in your mind and recall memories from the past. Spend the last few moments of 2020 clearing energy space for 2021.
Pluto is now moving through your fourth house, the sector of the chart that rules the past. Deep-seated emotions may have their roots in your fear of losing stability in the family structure which in turn could lead to concern for the loss of social status. What is the source of these feelings? And what can you do to change how you feel? Reviewing your life goals and perhaps discussing them with a trusted friend can help you understand why you are feeling insecure about the future.
